The Friends of RSPCA Cairns is a volunteer run fundraising committee to raise awareness and funds for the RSPCA Cairns Shelter formed in 2009. A very dedicated group of people who, just like you, want animals to find good homes. We depend on your support and donations to continue our work.
As a non-government, community-based charity, the RSPCA Cairns
Shelter relies on donations, bequests and sponsorships to raise funds
annually to support the Cairns RSPCA shelter, programs and services.
On top of the day-to-day operating costs, the RSPCA Cairns Shelter
urgently needs to raise funds to make improvements to existing buildings
and new infrastructure. Just one of the projects that will be funded is
a new cattery which is urgently required as the existing cattery floods each
wet season.
There are many ways you can help us to continue our lifesaving work for
the animals of Cairns.
All funds raised go to the RSPCA Cairns shelter. The generous donations received from the public have already gone towards emergency vet treatments of neglected and abused animals that come into the care of the RSPCA Cairns Shelter, improvements at the Shelter with more to come. This is only possible with the generous donations of the public and dedicated group of volunteers that make up the Friends of RSPCA Cairns.
We would also like to thank the many supporters that have also assisted us in fundraising over the past few years.
